Yoga Retreat at Les Passeroses 21-28 September 2019
The Retreat
You are invited to join us for a week of yoga at this well-established yoga retreat centre in south-western France. The retreat centre has a variety of accommodation options all on-site and all meals are included including lunch after the morning classes and a dinner in the evening. The yoga practice room is fully equipped and has ropes and it will not therefore be necessary to bring any yoga props. Classes will take place from 8 to 11 each morning and from 6-7.30 in the evening. Teaching will include asana, pranayama and a theme for this retreat will be the introduction of some teachings from the Bhagavad Gita including learning to chant the text. There will be no formal class on Wednesday evening.
The Venue, Location and Accommodation
Les Passeroses is a lovely French farmhouse in the countryside of Charente in the South West of France. It has been listed in the Top Ten Best Yoga Retreats in the World by the Guardian, Top Twenty Best Retreats in the Times and Best European Yoga Retreats in the Independent.
Nestled in the wonderful French countryside of the Charente region, Les Passeroses is South East of Cognac and North East of Bordeaux. The nearest big town is Angouleme.
The rooms are beautifully designed and finished to a high standard with comfortable beds and high quality linen. Bath and pool towels, hairdryers and handmade organic hand wash, body wash and shampoo are provided.The rooms are either twin/double sharing or single with many ensuite.

Costs
Prices for the week are as follows:
£750 per person for a twin room with shared bathroom
£780 per person for ensuite twin/double room
£845 single room with shared bathroom
£915 single room with own shower
£975 single garden lodge ensuite
Cost includes yoga tuition fees, accommodation and all meals including tea and fruit before the morning class, lunch and dinner. All food will be vegetarian. Vegan and other special diets including gluten free will be catered for.
Travel
From the UK we encourage people to travel by train via Paris to Angouleme where arrangements for collection can be made, or to arrive with car share. Bordeaux is the nearest airport. Arrivals will be from 5pm on Saturday 21 September and dinner will be provided that evening. Departures will take place on the morning of 28 September.
